Greetings from a windy but surprising cool 86 degree evening in Pierre, South Dakota.

We left this morning with support from Kevin's dad and brother as well as friends Kent and Mary.  It was a day on I-90 for us.  The surprise item of the day today was the rest stop about mile marker 67.  This rest stop is also a visitor center with a great view of the Missouri river. So if you e re get out this way it is a beautiful spot to stop and stretch!

Kevin's ride had him a bit more north and he got to go through his parent's hometown!

We got checked into our hotel, got our errands for Kevin done and even got a bit of football in before meeting Kevin at the end.  We got the special of the afternoon at the Longbranch bar, a platter of nachos and pitcher of beer for fifteen dollars.  Just enough to fill our bellies and cool us off.

The end tonight was at Steamboat park right along the river.  It was an easy walk from our hotel under the bridge and along the river to the park.  There were prime rib sandwiches provided tonight for us  as well as ice cream sandwiches.

Patience only needed a few items again tonight.  The biggest was her left mirror put back in place! It slipped and kept falling onto the handlebar.

Tomorrow it is off to Sturgis followed by a rest day there.  I understand we should have a number of friends there as well.
