Kevin recently finished his second day.  I am happy to report he once again finished in time and got all his miles!  That is not to say all is well, however.  Tonight he and the boys are working on the gas lines and trying to figure out why he lost power throughout the day.  My job was to get him food!  That was easy since we had eaten not too long ago and had excellent burgers.

As I type this Kevin is working on the bike and Mark is playing the PR person.  While he talks to the men coming by interested and gives them history and details of the bike, the female half of the couple stands by and even starts to back away!  It might be more than they expected.

We started off this morning in 47 degree temps with highs about 60.  There was a chance of rain but they lucked out and stayed dry.  The route today was beautiful for us on some two lane highways through New Hampshire and New York.  The houses had all types of gingerbread trim on the Victorian style in all colors.  The big New England type style loved the color yellow.  Of all the colors to choose I don't understand why mostly yellow?!

There were stores and bridges were decorated with tons of flowers!  There is no way to capture the full beauty of it all.  We saw a small roadside park with a working waterwheel, a house who's entire yard was full of wind chimes of all types,  and breath taking vistas from the interstate!   The leaves are just starting to change.  The hydrangeas are humongous!  They are the size of crabapple trees!  The rose of Sharon are also large.  And the invasive flowers are horrific as they cover everything!  This includes the lithrum, goldenrod, and the knotweed.  The knotweed is covering Everything Everywhere!!

Our day concluded in Binghamton, NY.  We joined a fellow support crew for food at The Colonial.  It is a an excellent burger/sandwich place with amazing fries that you could get multiple ways. Yes, fries differ ways-so many fixings to put on top!  I got the mushroom Swiss and bearnaise sauce burger, Jay and Mark had the Cheesesteak, Linda had the Colonial (a typical burger) and Jessica.... the Bloody Marge!

Jessica and Bloody Marge!

She was able to get it done with a little help from her friends!

Once Kevin made it in, he was hungry with some work to do.  The Colonial was easy to get to and good food , so he too ordered from there.  He got a the Caprese chicken sandwich with buffalo bleu fries.   A good choice for cool weather work.  Going on a food run for him allowed me another look at the cool architecture in the downtown area.

As I end this tonight, the boys are still working, the weather isn't too bad and people are still touring the parking lot.  Overall, not too bad - in my opinion!

Tomorrow however might be brutal as the forecast is calling for 100% rain ...eeck!  Motorcycling is not for the weak at heart!  We will end our day in Jamestown, NY.
