National Motorcycle Museum crowd
It was a pretty easy day for us as we traveled in common grouand along I-80. We tried to eat a little earlier, like regular lunchtime. We missed our turn into Coralville, Iowa so we took a loop around from the next exit. We saw the Hawkeyes Express train. We figured it was something to help move fans during game day. (If you know any different and want to share, let me know.). Evidently this is an area that has been built up since Jay attended there___ years ago! We finally found our lunch spot, the Twelve01 Kitchen and Tap. Jay had the chicken, shrimp and corn chowder with a nice piece of garlic bread. Mark had the chili and a pice of flatbread with chicken, chorizo, avacodo and cilantro. I had the grilled Rueben with homemade chips! It was good (no, Mom, it was nothing like the Villager's!). It was better timing and better quantity enabling the consumption of brisket!
I forgot to add the interesting site of the day! If you ever wondered what to do with that old satellite dish I found the answer at mile marker 67 on I-80 in Illinois. If you look to the north they have painted each dish a different color and stacked two on top of each other and then set them in a line along the fence! Wha-la, art!
Tonight was a night of routine maintenance items as well as a few minor issues. Patience needed her hand oil filed, the chain guard welded , and a latch broke and was replaced along the ride with a bunge hook. A few fans stopped by and chatted and bought a few shirts.
Nighttime working
Tomorrow is long day to Spirit Lake, Iowa. It is also the day our parents will come see us! Kevin's dad will have some spare parts in tow for us (thank you!).
My battery is low on both the computer and my eyes!
Good night.
