This morning Kevin left Yok,PA in good condition.  They had a 228 mile trip through the mountains towards Morgantown, WV.  We took word from Kevin at his mile 160 that he was not running!  There was some compression issues but would see what he could do to avoid the bus.  We heard from him after about 90 minutes that he was running!

While he was running through the mountains, we had the mountain views from the interstate visitor center.  There was an awesome footbridge over the road and a set of steps up the side of the mountain.

Once in Morgantown, we met Paul's son, Eric and his girlfriend, Jessica.  We ate at this delicious cafe, Atomic Grille.  Cornbread bruschetta and various toppings, finger licking sandwiches and had to get desserts.  They proceeded to spend the rest of the day with us.

We got another message that Kevin made it to his lunch stop and was limping along.  Which I found out at the end of the meant going across the Mason Dixon line with one cylinder!  We were happy to see him cross the line in good time especially breaking down for so long.

So after a long day, the Triple S Harley Davisdon store supplied dinner for the riders.  After letting the crowd look at the bikes and talk to the riders, the store opened up the workshop area to riders to work on their bikes and able to use any tools necessary.  Kevin was able to claim a spot to work for the night.  He had to clean the valves to fix the compression issue.  Once this was complete, it would not shift into third gear and smoking!  Just when we all were thinking we were near done, the transmission needs to be replaced!

During all of this, Eric and Jessica were gracious enough to run errands for us: snacks, go-pro film card, digital watch, Chapstick, and sunscreen ( all the important things!).  It helped so much!  I did my small part to help, like meeting the other team members working in the area!  After finding out the transmission needed changing, I got the task of checking in hotel and letting you all know about our day!  Kevin and Paul are furiously working to be ready for 9am departure time!
